What is a Sewing Lounge?

This time is set aside for you to get assistance with your sewing projects, get your muslin fit, and to consult me on pattern and fabric selections. I have an extensive collection of books donated to the shop that you can relax and consult. This is not a time to learn about patternmaking and some ftting issues may be beyond the purview of this time - please feel free to ask me before signing up. The cost is $12, which can be used for a purchase during the studio time on this day only. Studio sewing lounges are also for sewers to get together and have a good time sewing and learning from others. Sergers, coverstitch, and blindstitch hem machines are available for an additional rental fee. Machine rentals are per hour: Blindstitch hemming - $20, Serger/Coverstitch $8.
