Linden Sweatshirt from Grainline Studio In Scuba Knit

Finally I can get some sewing done. The Linden Sweatshirt literally takes about 2 hours start to finish and you can mix and match smaller pieces of fabric. I am going to make a whole series of combos this Fall!

Materials used (size 4 and lengthened 1.5"):

5/8 yards for the bodice pieces (with leftovers) - out of an Italian textured scuba knit.

28" (1" shy of 3/4 yard) for the sleeves out of a merino/cotton jersey - also from Italy

1/4 yard for the ribbing, I used a tencel double knit from Eileen Fischer

Pattern Notes: when you want to dress up your sweatshirt I recommend starting with a ribbing trim in a double knit instead of a cheapy sporty cotton/poly. Double knits are heavier, more stable and have a nice sheen and hand that looks much more finished and expensive. They are spendy but you only need 1/4 yard! I have some St John remnants in the shop in 2 great colors.
